Volunteer Position Description
Please note: All team members will have an opportunity to select a position for each event. We will do our best to accommodate requests. There’s a chance that you could start off in one position and switch to another throughout the event.
Wealthy Heart Program Assistant
We need energetic, enthusiastic people for this position. You will assist with the flow of the Wealthy Heart program’s family engagement activities, including hands-on cooking sessions.
Wealthy Heart Registration
Greet guests and check that they are registered. We need energetic and excited people for this position, considering you will be the first or second person greeting the Wealthy Heart guests! We always aim to make a lasting first impression.
Health Science Labs Program Assistant
Health Science Lab Assistants help prep labs, assist junior scientists with lab nutrition through STEM workshops, and promote energetic environments.
Medical Professional
Medical professionals and healthcare students conduct blood pressure and blood sugar screenings and provide education and resources to connect to a health home.
Medical Assistant
Assist with cleaning and managing equipment, runner for medical supplies and dissemination of information.
Community Event Assistant
Assist with prep, packing, and disseminating information at the current community event.
